For some of the albums in this list, it was love at first note. This was one of those albums. Not that that’s surprising, given my love for dark things. (By the way, listen to more of Sparklehorse. Their Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain almost made it to this list. 70 can be such a small number sometimes.)
